Fujifilm Sericol to show the Vybrant F1600, its new inkjet printer
Fujifilm Sericol is scheduled to exhibit the Vybrant F1600, its new inkjet printer, together with a wide range of Euromedia materials at C!Print Madrid. The purpose of the exhibition will be to show visitors the variety of surfaces upon which this printer can work.
This equipment, which will be available for purchase this coming summer of 2014, was recently introduced in Germany and is designed for the signalling industry. It is ideal for printing stickers and other flexible materials for indoor and outdoor applications that require durability and prompt delivery. The combination of the UV chemistry and the ecosolvent carrier provides prints with a bright and soft finish.
The Vybrant F1600 is a 1.6-meter-wide coil plotter featuring Fujifilm’s proprietary “FUZE hybrid UV ink technology”. Fujifilm’s FUZE technology can improve the efficiency and the results attainable in a large format production environment. The UV component in the ink generates a durable ink layer which is very resistant to scratches while the ecosolvent carrier produces a thin layer that improves manipulation and finishing flexibility. Due to the possibility of UV treatment, no degasification time is required and the surfaces may be finished and sent immediately after printing. The Vybrant F1600 is a CMYK four-colour machine with speeds of up to 18 m2/hour, which guarantees its compatibility with a wide variety of surfaces.
