Prismaflex: A new prism at the Louvre Museum

Prismaflex returns in style to the Louvre Museum

Large format illusions that come true.

As part of the renovation work on the Louvre Museum, -the best known museum in France – the Prismaflex large format digital printer has been chosen by ExterionMedia, a specialist in outdoor communication, to print the canvases and monumental advertisements that will cover the museum’s facades for the duration of the work. Prismaflex had already made the prism of the Louvre Museum “disappear” thanks to a monumental impression of optical illusion in collaboration with JCDecaux.

Prismaflex offers monumental and versatile advertising

The first stage of the work began on the façades of the “gallery on the bank of the river”. on the François Mitterrand dock- Prismaflex has produced and printed a 1600 m2 canvas type Mesh, perforated PVC tarpaulin to cover it. This material allows the passage of light into the building. Four huge sets of 110 m2, 177 m2, 50 m2 and 636 m2 respectively have also been installed, as well as an additional 33 x 21 m advertising canvas that will be renewed  each month. All this gives a total of 1000 m2 of sets and canvases creating optical illusions, and more than 700m2 of advertising surface.

Prismaflex International has become one of the leaders in the industrial manufacture of advertising panels and large format digital printing, as the company has always been able to mobilize itself to anticipate the expectations of its customers.
